Welcome to the Thames Valley (Wokingham) Link
Chernobyl Children's Life Line is a national charity founded in 1992 by Victor Mizzi M.B.E. Since then over 150 "Links" (local areas) have been established throughout the United Kingdom, raising money to support the children of Belarus, whose lives will be forever affected by the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986. Our local area is the Thames Valley. We re based in and around Wokingham, drawing our support from as far as Henley to the north, Riseley to the South, Bracknell to the East and Theale to the west.

Imagine: Living the rest of your life in a radioactive polluted environment. There is no escape. Money cannot buy protection.
Imagine: Living the rest of your life in a radioactive polluted environment. There is no escape. Money cannot buy protection.
Imagine: Eating food that may harm you, but what else can you do?
Imagine: Coming to the UK and eating fresh food and breathing fresh air and going home with your imune system recharged.
Imagine: Knowing that people DO care.
Our local work is focused on raising the funds to bring over 12 children each year for four weeks of fresh air, uncontaminated food, fun, love and attention as well as dental and eye check ups. This year the children's visit is from Sunday 13th July 2008 to Sunday 10th August 2008. Look out for us and the children in their red hats! We are recruiting Host Families now so if you are interested, please contact the link using the "Contact Pages"
